Ready to drop anchor

So here goes my first blog. And just because I don't want to set the bar too high, I'm going to keep it short. But why "Dropping Anchors"? The name comes from a group I was in for a high school lip sync with my buddies. We did a song from South Pacific, mixed with a cover by Real Big Fish, and well it seemed like a good name for a weblog.
